GUEST HOUSE GUEST BOOK
|
Dear Lidia,
Where to start. Never - never have I had a more
enjoyable vacation.
You are a very lucky woman. As are we.
God truly knew what he was doing when he led you and
your to this wondrous place. He could not have
found a better caretaker for this place. We have
had a wonderful - enjoyable time.
You are a a marvelous hostess. I just wish you
were closer to where we live. My son brought us on
this trip so I could finally see the Ocean. I saw
the ocean and found a friend.
Please, please, if you are ever in Nebraska, please
call us. I'd love to show you our little piece of
Nebraska. We have had the most enjoyable time.
I hate to leave but we'll have all of the memories and
pictures. Take care and Gold Bless you.
Linda
Lidia,
Our stay at the ranch guest was wonderful and oh so
peaceful.
- I enjoyed soaking in the peace and quiet.
- Hannah loved the goats and the feeding frenzy of
the trout!
- Paul loved it all - especially hiking your
trails and viewing the elk.
The house is spectacular and wraps itself about you -
just like home - only better! We look forward to
our next trip for it is certainly our desire to return!
Thanks Again,
Nancy, Paul, & Hannah
Lidia and helpers,
Not knowing quite what to expect, we were delighted to
arrive at your beautiful, serene, quiet, private,
tasteful home.
The views of the hills, sky, clouds, fog, the elk and
birdlife; combined with the comfort of the home,
fireplace, decks, and hot tub create a sublime getaway.
We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary here - we
felt like we were at home - only better, because our
kids were not! Thanks for all.
Nancy and Mark.
Lidia, Mike, and Jim,
We both thank you for a wonderful stay &
for the 'borrowing' of Oliver. He is really a
character! His 'talking' didn't go
unanswered. We loved it so much here that we dread
leaving tomorrow (27th).
Keep up the great work - we'll be back either this
fall or in January next year. We loved everything
- the tour of the ranch (Thanks Mike!), the hot tub
(spa), the Roman tub, the bed . . . I could go on &
on. The scenery here was great & very
relaxing.
It's very nice to have a lot of space (as we live on
a boat) and full amenities. It is very inspiring
here. Our only regret is that the elk didn't come
by before we left . . . but there's always the return
trip for that! The snow made up for it. I
haven't been in snow in 17 years. We loved
it!
We plan to walk on more of the trails next time
(hopefully the weather will cooperate more next
time). Thanks for everything & for making our
honeymoon so memorable and for making us feel like part
of the family!
Take care! See you again soon!

Dear Lidia,
I've been perusing these pages and decided to write
something a little different.
Sure - at first glance - it seems like everyone likes
this place okay. But when you really read, you
find a universal complaint . . . "The sad
realization sets in that our week is already up . . .
", "It was much too wonderful to leave . . .
", "It is very difficult to leave . . .",
"We are sad to go . . . ".
We have the same beef, Lidia, and you need to fix
this! Luckily I have a simple solution to our
problem. It's an 8 person tent that we have on our
porch. And I read in our paper about a local
artisan who handcrafts decorative outhouses from old
barn wood (really!). You just find us an
unobtrusive corner of the ranch where we can run enough
plumbing to our outhouse for a roman tub, and we'll be
set.
Just think of the possibilities, Lidia. You'd
have a resident doctor who, with a few classes, could
also be your Doctor Doolittle. And he's a former
football player, so at shearing time, we'll suit him up
and send him out to tackle your woolies. And I
shave Jeff's head - I could coif sheep, llamas, and
alpacas, too.
I also drive a stick shift, it can't be that much
harder to drive a tractor or a cat. I can also
plant, paint, clean, cook, thin trees, and love those
kitties (when you're away). I think I'm on to
something, Lidia.
All kidding aside, we had such a wonderful, restful
time. Thank you for dinner, the tour, the flowers
- everything! You're an amazing Lady with mighty
long arms - you've wrapped them around your guests, your
pets, your family, friends, forests, meadows, wild life
- and given us all a part of yourself. Wow!
Where does it all come from?
Just like everyone else - we hate to leave. But
we'll be back.
Be well,
Kerstin & Jeff

I LOVE THE GUESTHOUSE! Throughout 4 days I saw 28

Lidia:
The house is beautiful, the scenery magnificent. We so
enjoyed the deer, the birds, the sheep.
But Charlie and I agree the highlight of this weekend
was meeting you. We will definitely keep in touch. Thank
you so much.

ps: the brunch was beyond words...all five senses

We said of the beach house "It's perfect".
Well, the Guesthouse is "Pluperfect"! Thanks
