KAYAKING is increasing in popularity and is a sport that the
owner of Winter Springs ranch embraces and would like for you to
enjoy as well.
Lidia can direct you to several different sections of the Rogue River and can tell you
about many more. Perhaps she will paddle with you!
The Rogue River that guests have immediate access to is either
tidal/estuary or lazy Class 1 water with occasional opportunity
for Class 2. However, there are other sections of
the Rogue and other rivers in the area that offer kayaking
opportunity at all levels, from lazy creeks that enter into the
ocean, up thru Class 5 rapids on at least the Rogue, Illinois,
Smith, and Klamath Rivers (all favorite rivers to kayak).
