Pond Turtle at Corral Meadow Pond
When returning to the ranch house one evening after a day of
log splitting, the Ranch Manager spotted this pond turtle on the road, headed
'who knows where'. This pond turtle then enjoyed a ride in
the ranch truck and an overnight stay in the bed of a trailer
which was well stocked with food and shelter.
The following day Lidia and this photographer took the turtle
to the edge of the Corral Meadow Pond for a photo session and then
release.
